Little Free Library

Hey Everyone,
I was at my friends house the other day and they were talking to me about this thing called the Little Free Library. This was the first time I had ever heard of it, so when they told me, I knew that I needed to share it.
Here is a little History on this cute library. The Little Free Library is an idea that started in a neighborhood. The idea came about in 2009 by a man by the name of Todd Bol. He started the first Little Free Library in honor of his mother who was a school teacher. He filled it with books and left it in his front yard. He then created more and gave them to friends and family. Each one had a sign that said ‘free books’. It was such a big hit! I mean who doesn’t love free books! You can take one to two books and all you have to do is leave a book or two to share.
Now there are these libraries almost everywhere. From schools to parks, you name it. This is such a great idea. The fact that communities are coming together and promoting literacy is an amazing thing. It is ideas like this that make the community a better place. If you have any ideas that you think would benefit your community feel free to share them in the comments below.
